Hi friends, my name is Yury, and I'm webmaster of 5 websites at the moment, this is my profession as well as passion.

I have a request for directions though: one my site was hacked in November and all content was copied completely. My htaccess was altered to redirect all trafik to the new direction and this was going on for over two weeks, all searches for my site are showing the new link, I have laid several complaints to the registrar of domain that holds my content, the owner of the site has fake contact details, so there is no way to get him. The registrar of domain doesn't reply either. My sites lost 74% of visits, and went down from pr3 to no pr I have managed to restore pr but not visits and when I check my pr on google with info:body-builders.org i get the name of that hackers sites so, it looks like I stole his pr not opposite. Anyway, even today his site appears on second page on search for my keywords. I lost all revenue on adsense and cannot sell links from my site anymore. What should I do? Please someone help me!!!

Welcome to WTF!

Why don't you just correct your .htaccess file and any altered files? Maybe restore from a backup previous to the attack.

Welcome to WTF! How did you get hacked? You have to patch that security hole quick!

I have corrected it twice for three days, but everything stopped only after I changed password of cPanel. How on earth this person found my password? It's mystery. But the site is still on top of google search.

Have no idea how, but I'm working on the issue, moving site to WordPress, this will be more secure then my own 10 years old coding.

I noticed today that registrar of the domain have taken action - the domain was put on hold for wrong whois info. I hope it will go for good. How often is google updates it's databases?
