    impact of law on celebrities

    hello friends....... what do you think about it, Is the law easier on celebrities?

    Of course. They are famous and usually have huge amounts of money to bail themselves out.

    I don't think law is biased towards some people.. I guess you are feeling so because they are out of court and there cases are solved sooner than others, right ?
    I guess that is because they have lot of money to hire the best advocates !!

    It depends on what country you are talking about. However, in most cases because there is media always watching their moves any special privilege they can be getting maybe subjected to scrutiny and this is why many celebrities are really careful never to be relegated as belonging to a special class. And I believe that laws should be implemented equally whether you are famous or just an unknown.

    Yes because cops and other authority figures are obsessed and in love with celebs just as normal people are. A cop may not give them a speeding ticket once they find out who it is.

    Is it possible the crimes they're charged with aren't so very serious but were hyped up in the media so they would seem more dire?

    Some of them get lucky...even if they are involved in some heavy stuff, they always get out clean...

    Like Paris Hilton? She did coke and was holding drugs in her purse and still only got a light jail sentence. Any regular girl would have spent a year in county jail for that
