I read it on Yahoo! News about the so called "Microsoft 8". I just want to know when will they release this or whatever they will call it.

okay.. That video is just saying the improvements they are planning to implement in newer version

Don't expect windows 8 to be releases before 2012, as ms might want to extract as much as profit via win 7 and when users get bored they release something new

They seem to be releasing versions faster. Is this to keep up with Mac?

Then why not compare it with ubuntu ?

They are the fastest in version development and releasing them

Microsoft still appears to be on course for a Q2/Q3 2012 release of Windows 8, which ties in with them wanting to return to a 3 year turn around on OS releases.
