I believe it is highly possible... if you ignore the fact that baidu is very popular in china, and china does have a huge population. Bing is more clean and easy to use than yahoo, and the only reason why yahoo is still in lead is because it is an old and established site, while Bing is new and people aren't likely to try new things.
But now that they have merged their databases... I think Bing as the potential be more popular than yahoo.

Sometimes I have seen my latest blog post gets indexed in Bing quickly than in Yahoo. Also to mention here that it gets indexed on Google immediately after publishing.

A few months ago I would have said no way. But, since Bing and Yahoo merged in Nov. then Bing with the backing of microsoft does have a chance in my opinion. Also since Google is changing its privacy terms and the way your results will be compiled based off of your past searches then many may flock to the new "Binghoo"

Really they merged? I don't know. Didn't came across any such news. Well, if Yahoo has been merged with Bing then I think it is not good sign for Yahoo to maintain consistency in future.

I somewhat agree on this one as Bing also is loaded with features when it comes to doing searches. So maybe in the near future it will become #2.
