Thumbs up How to Prevent Virus Infection

    How to Prevent Virus Infection

A virus negatively affects a computer system by altering user data and information without you knowing it. This could lead into slow computer performance and a worst case scenario, it will damage your whole system to an extent that you will need to reformat it.

Here are some basic tips on how one can prevent viruses from getting to your computer system:

    # Always take caution when opening your email's inbox. As a rule, don't open emails coming from untrusted or unknown senders. Don't easily download attachments, and if ever you want to, just be sure to scan it using Malwarebytes or your trusted anti-virus software first before running.
    # The use of USB flash drives in passing files between computers can lead to virus infection. Scan them first before running and be sure to stop it's autorun process. Take most caution if these USB drives was just recently used from a public computer. Most o the time, public computers from cafes are a good sources of viruses.
    # Have your anti-virus application update and open all the time.
    # Frequently back-up all your important datas. External hard drives are always handy in these cases.

    Nice share Geki.. To addon,
Frequently delete temporary files using CCleaner (or any other software), as using that your system can be hacked !! or the hacker can transfer virus easily

Having a good anti virus is a good idea . And I always use a USB flash drive so I do spend a lot of time scanning them to prevent infection!

But inserting those on many different computers will put your USB to the risk of being infected.
Let alone the files stored in it.

But Norton eats up resources so most people switch to other anti-virus.
And what do you mean by registered? Like Premium and such?
