Keyword density should be high, but not too high because, it might be suspected by search engines as keyword stuffing. I not just sure if what is the best percentage of keyword that we should meet.

Some people estimate 2% or 3% keyword density which is only 2 keywords per 100 words and that might work for your article or not. If you need to use it more than that, then do so. For instance, if your keyword is 'long hair Siamese cats', you can't just say 'it' in the article and expect the reader to understand what you're talking about. Another technique is to use a slightly similar keyword phrase so as to avoid keyword stuffing.

The site has NO CONTENT whatsoever and the URL shows as the page title. I know WHY this is happening (the inbound links use the term "web hosting" etc..), but is it really fair for a blank page to rank above a site that has visable content, regardless of what inbound links it has? How useful is a blank page to a surfer? I'd rather see spam than a blank page.

I have to be honest and say that I don't like whatever Google have done here, I'm getting seeing those same high quality results that I used to. I've seen people complaining every month about how their sites have gone down and things look bad on the serps, and normally I don't agree all that much ..
This must have been some years back as the thread is dated 2006. The domain has apparently been bought by a money transfer site so they now have a nice backlink from WTF. Maybe that was the point then to build backlinks and then sell the domain or build a site around that domain. Whatever, it seems to be a very professional looking site now. I don't see the site listed anywhere for 'web hosting' with or without quotes. Maybe i missed it.

Keyword density is matter of site ranking. We see many time some site looking is not goog but site rank is high in the search engin.I think it's depend on backlink and online persents of any site.

Google seems less focused on the appearance of a site and more on content/backlinks.
