    Backordering a domain

How successful is back ordering domain? I have heard that it is very complex and a difficult thing to do and one should not waste time in that.

    Re: Backordering a domain

I've never actually tried it before. But I'm pretty sure that it's not too hard to do, and that you go to godadddy, for example, and enter a registered domain. Then you agree to pay them if they register it when it expires. And if they can't register it, you never pay for it.

I have heard that most of the service providers do not meet the expectations set by them. If the domain ordered by you turns to be a very good one it is auctioned by them as they get more profit from it.

You can pay many hundreds of dollars more than a domain is truly worth by back ordering that domain but if you're sure of the keywords you want to use in the domain name, then maybe it's worth it.

Domain backordering refers to a service that most domain registrars offer which will allow you to register a domain name that will soon be expiring in hopes of capturing the rights to that domain name before someone else grabs it.

It's recommended you not back order through Godaddy as the expiring domains they offer actually go into public auction and you will end up paying much more than you initially planned or could get outbid for the domain you want.

If you have budget to pay for sites hosting for years, it is easy. What should be beneficial if you got domains that is name or properly belong to big business or company that you can sold it in good figure.

You need to ensure the domain you want is worth the money you will have to pay, cause sometimes a simple $18 back order fee is just the starter of what you will pay for a backordered domain name.
