What is the difference between SEO & SMO.Can someone help me with some advise about SEO & SMO.

SEO is ranking high in Search Engines. SMO is Social Media like twitter and Facebook.

SEO is the process to increase the rank of site with the help of onpage and offpage optimization. And SMO is social media optimization where you have to do activities on social networking sites like Facebook, twitter, Myspace etc.

Hello SEO is search engine optimization and SMO is social media optimization . SEO use to increasing the websites traffic and page rank and SMO is social networking sites like twitter, Facebook, MSN.com, Moco sphes and so many social networking sites ....

seo is the search engine optimization the processes to use for the page rank of the sites and this is also the helpful for the traffic generation of the site..
And the smo is a social media which is jut like Facebook and twitter ....

My understanding is that the main point of SMO is to get traffic from sources other than search engines. If that's correct then the answer to this question must be SEO.

In my opinion, SEO and SMO are equally important. It’s a great idea to allocate time for your daily SEO and SMO efforts to have your share of quick and consistent traffic.
