When will Twitter Die?

I don't think twitter is going to go away any time soon. There are always new people discovering Twitter for the first time. That is what will keep it alive. As far as it's usefulness, that depends on you. If you think you can just post a link and get results you will be disappointed.

I agree with this assessment. Why do people here are wishing for that site to go? I think just to have a chance to bash a site. Twitter is a success and we should appreciate that. It has its own niche of service and I guess it must still be looking good and making money. I am not using Twitter much but I also don't have the time to hate or bash the site. ;D

Aren't they monetizing Twitter now? If that's true, there's little chance it will go out of business anytime soon. Though i hear Twitter founders started with a $50 million dollar slush fund (start up capital) to get the site off the ground without having to use advertising. Once they got everyone addicted, they slapped on ads and now you have the twitter you see today. At least they had ads the last time i looked. Would be nice to go back to the ad free twitter from before.

As long as celebrities are a part of it, I dont see it dying.

Moreover, it is a better Social Media Marketing tool than Facebook..Its fast and no-nonsense..

Why do you think it's a better tool than Facebook? And what do you mean by "no-nonsense"? I have seen a couple of "nonsense" posts on Twitter.

I don't think this will be possible in future also!
As twitter don't monetize there own site by themselves, and then why do think they will allow users to monetize there page ?
