Thread: Worst thing about social networking site

Some of the negative side of social networking is that sometimes they would stole your identity and they post negative comments to you. Also social networking are use sometimes to do bad things

-ve thing about social networking is not privacy and some people always put those things in the site with is irrelevant.

Recently there are so much spam post which are appeared in a very attractive mood. Those who are clicking on this post are affecting by spammers.

I'm talking strictly about facebook: they say they try to improve it every time...but the so-called improvements are not that good, they ruin facebook.

On Facebook, the worst thing is you get constant updates from any group you join. When i made my new Facebook account, i clicked an icon for the Dexter TV show and Percy Jackson: Lightening thief. And, now i get updates from that, though i'm only mildly interested and could care less to know current news on the subject. Same for friends. Seriously do i need to be updated every five seconds when one of a hundred friends plants a row of corn? nty.

Yes, good point. I am also many times irritated with such irrelevant updates on my wall. I think there need to be more filtering done on what we want to see on our wall.

And, they were so tricky about the way they asked me about my hobbies. I though i was just clicking on icons to list my hobbies, but turns out i was subscribing to other Facebook pages and now get updates from there. I like Runescape and Dexter, but to be honest, i don't need daily updates about it. It just clutters up my wall and makes it harder to find friend posts and comments.

You know what I feel? I feel there should be one paid service in Facebook or a paid social platform that should be without ads and without tricky links. The subscription of it may not be only through money payout, but other options such as affiliate, writing for the site on our blog, mentioning it on forums or giving a signature link.

The worst thing as for me is that I have a lot of friends on my frienspaces but I dont really know them.I mean i know them like who they are , but not really close.The quality of friendships is lacking.Only sometimes a person who is in my friends list , who doesn't even chat with me , asks me a favour to like some of their picture for a competition.God this is not why they're in my friends list !

for me,the worst thing is that mostly people share negative or rough stuff at social sites
