Which software is used for animation?

Flash is probably the most common but I did use a free one a year or so ago but sadly I forget the same. It was specifically designed for creating GIFs and it was completely free.

But free trial doesn't really last long and the features are so limited so why would it be a best software if you use a program with limited features?

It's free version also provide all in one facility such as photoshop, flash, coraldraw and all, That's why it is best. If you want to purchase its licensed version, it's also available in market with minimum cost 500$.
