Thread: Top 5 things to hate about Yahoo

Let us find out what people hate about Yahoo.

Well, for one, I don't like their site. It is too messed up and has too much news instead of a simple search like google. I think yahoo is trying to keep up with the competition by having all these news and information on their page to attract visitors, but on a whole, their services aren't as good as google.

What else?

Their mail doesn't look good. :P I really don't like the design, and their chats are no way as interactive as google. Gmail is much easier to use, and there is also a social thing about yahoo where people kinda look down on you if you use yahoo. :P

Does anyone has any other ideas?

I don't have five things, just one thing. I hate all the destructive java scripts they run when i check my mail. The search engine is fine but i suspect they are not giving me all the results i need.

i also not have five but i hate there error if my net is slow they error to return normal mod and that why i stop using it

Yahoo do give all the results but it is very different from the search results of Google. Moreover, I have read that Yahoo has more sites in its database than Google.

That's almost hard to believe considering how selective the results are in Yahoo search. Maybe they just choose not to provide all possible search listings as Google does. That could be a good thing, i guess. But, i don't really want censored search engine results.

How about Bing. It is also as disappointing as Yahoo or better than Yahoo and below the quality of Google?

I feel that Yahoo's mail is too fancy and looks like it can suit teenagers and kids well.Google Mail is just professional and good looking !

I hate the yahoo mail. It not looks good. Yahoo site is slow in downloading. But I like the home page of yahoo.

I think Google mail is the best when compared with yahoo mail and other web mail services. This is fact as in yahoo we cannot see that user's friendliness. So this works well with Gmail.
